2. The Undertaker vs. The Undertaker (SummerSlam 1994)
Commonly known as The Undertaker vs. 'The Underfaker', the main event of SummerSlam 1994 was that only in name. A Steel Cage classic between Bret Hart and Owen Hart came just before it, making the job of this doppelganger battle virtually impossible. Fans had been taken on a ride by the Hart brothers, so this twin Undertaker story just felt more than a little contrived. The most major issue came with style. In 1994, The Undertaker was still working as a slow-moving wrestler. This didn't make his matches the most watchable, but the appeal of the character was enough to offset that detail. WWF fans were heavily invested in Undertaker, but less so in his opponent at SummerSlam. Going less than 10 minutes, that fact didn't seem to upset many enthusiasts. Why wasn't Bret vs. Owen, a clearly more intriguing match, chosen as the main event? This battle of The Undertakers felt more like a tacked on house show main event, rather than a fully-fledged Pay-Per-View feature attraction.
