2. Jerry Lawler

Jerry Lawler is established pro wrestling royalty in gimmick and standing.

He has withstood controversy and at times near-unanimous antipathy to his commentary work to return to the booth, in a well-paying position, time and time again. He is - and this is a subjective opinion, granted - very much a beneficiary of the piss-poor modern standard. He is also - and this is rather less subjective - a sex-crazed old man with a history that is worthy of a deep dive. Much like Paige's ass and Lawler's eyes, Vice should take a long, hard look at it.

David Bixenspan, formerly of Deadspin, attempted his own in 2018, uncovering in a great piece a "really dumb" letter Lawler had written to prosecutors as ugly in content as it was beautiful in penmanship. It was penned in an attempt to discredit one of the girls who had accused him of statutory rape in 1993, whom he accused in return of being caught having sexual relations "with a black man," the implication behind which is incredibly racist.

The charges were dropped, but the sense of unease surrounding the case has prevailed ever since. Lawler did admit that those girls were in that hotel room - if only to use the telephone.
