10 Successful WWE Tag Team Partners Who Couldn't Be More Different
8. Owen Hart & Yokozuna
The late, great Owen Hart was a four-time WWF World Tag Team Champion and the man he won it the most with - two times - was the most unlikely. That man was the late, great Yokozuna and the pair first won the belts at 1995's WrestleMania XI against the Smoking Gunns - Billy and Bart - when Yokozuna turned out to be Hart's mystery partner. Their first reign lasted a whopping 175 days until they were beaten by Shaw Michaels and Diesel in controversial fashion, as Hart did not turn up for the start of the match, so the British Bulldog replaced him. Hart ran down to the ring during the match and was pinned but, as he wasn't officially a part of it, he and Yokozuna were handed the titles back one night later, when they would lose them to the Smoking Gunns. Their styles couldn't have been more contrasting. Hart was a 229lb technical wrestler with great in-ring ability while Yokozuna was a 580lb kayfabe sumo wrestler.
