Despite being called Superstars, not every athlete signed to the WWE becomes a Superstar in the true meaning of the word. There are some people who join Vince McMahons company, only for them to regret doing so afterwards. There are some wrestlers who might have been stars before coming to the WWE, only for their stardom to fade while under that banner. At the same time, there have also been some wrestlers who barely made it in WWE, only to become bigger stars afterwards. This list contains ten wrestlers who have been employed at one point or another, by the WWF/E, and their careers were either lackluster and they were let go, or they were fired for one reason or another. Some of them earned the respect of their peers and fans by toiling away in other promotions, only for their momentum to be halted while in the WWE.
