10 Superstars That Hit Rock Bottom After WWE

8. Virgil

Best known for his role as Ted DiBiase's personal assistant, Virgil was never one of WWE's biggest stars. But his fall from grace is as big as anyone's. In early 2013 Virgil, who also enjoyed a run in WCW's NWO as Vincent, was spotted selling 8x10 photos in subway stations across New York City, this pretty sad as desperate image was taken in Grand Central Station by a group of fans. Visit Lonely Virgil to see more of this loneliness chronicled... His typical asking price for a set of glossies was $20 a picture. However, it seems he has fallen so far one fan reported to have haggled him down to only $5 a photo. This goes to prove that a what turned out to be a thirteen-year stint in what was then wrestling's big two companies, isn't guaranteed to financially secure you for life. Initially retiring in 2000, Virgil went on to teach high school maths and toured Asia at different US Military installations as part of the Morale, Welfare, and Recreation program for soldiers stationed overseas. However, lack of employment forced him back into the ring for a number of independent promotions. Sam Roberts sums up Virgil's current endeavours better than I ever could... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IS_F8US94eQ
