Vince McMahon and WWE love a lawsuit. Any chance, any place, any time, Vinny Mac will throw his legendary legal team at somebody. In the case of Sable, however, it was her who actually instigated initial legal action.

After quitting the then-WWF in June 1999, Sable was quick to file a $110 million lawsuit against McMahon’s company due to alleged sexual harassment and a hazardous working environment. According to the former Women’s Champion, the tip of the iceberg for her issues with the WWF came when they requested her to appear topless on TV.

As a response to this, McMahon launched his own lawsuit as he countersued the real-life Rena Mero over the ownership of the Sable name. Both the WWF and Sable would back down from their claims as an out of court settlement was agreed upon. Either way, Mero and McMahon were far from on great terms.

Fast forward four years to 2003, and Sable would make a shock return to the renamed WWE, and would even go on to do a Playboy shoot with Torrie Wilson.
