Owens has main event player written all over him. He's been one of WWE's brightest stars since his arrival on the scene late last year, quickly finding success in both NXT and on the main roster. He was pushed toward the top straight from the get-go in a feud with John Cena, but once he was beaten in back-to-back bouts by The Champ, he was moved to the midcard. Despite that, he has still managed to maintain his momentum in winning the Intercontinental Championship at Night Of Champions. And while he's done right by the prestigious prize prize in recent months, it's evident he's bound to be competing for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship before long. But with Roman Reigns, Sheamus and presumably John Cena busy in the title picture early next year, that doesn't leave much room for Owens. If the World Heavyweight Championship was still around, there'd be a chance of him being world champ by now. He's the type of competitor that would be dominating SmackDown as its lead heel if the Brand Split was in effect.
