10 Superstars WWE Creative Have Completely Abandoned

1. Jinder Mahal

2017 will forever be remembered as the year Jinder Mahal became WWE World Champion. From May-November, Mahal shed his enhancement talent skin and became SmackDown's top heel. In October, he began building towards a potential match with Brock Lesnar at Survivor Series, only for WWE to then drop him like a bad habit.

When AJ Styles beat Mahal to become WWE Champ in Manchester, it wasn't just a special occasion put on for the UK audience. Jinder's loss meant more than that, it represented a loss of faith from upper management in his own title reign. Not only that, it showed that WWE didn't believe he was a big enough name to collide with Lesnar on pay-per-view.

Mahal is no longer WWE Champion and he's not even on the Survivor Series card. For a man who worked his tail off to rise from mediocrity and become a proud titleholder, that must be devastating. All WWE have told fans is that Jinder's 170-day run with the title was insignificant.
