10 Surprise Comeback Predictions For WWE Raw's 25 Year Celebration

5. Sable

Desexualised in archive footage in recent years possibly because even Vince McMahon is a little bit scared Brock Lesnar might try and rip his head off, Sable's peak years as a performer were almost lost forever when the former Women's Champion departed the company acrimoniously in 1999.

Yet, part of what drove that decision was her justifiably robust belief that she was the megastar she purported herself to be.

A record-smashing Playboy magazine cover was still generating buzz months after she'd walked away from a spot as one of the biggest names on WWE's loaded roster. It was just over a year earlier that she'd made her official in-ring debut at WrestleMania 14, but in that time she'd received responses second only to Stone Cold Steve Austin as the adolescent and collegiate-age crowd gleefully tracked her every move.

Awkwardly, she didn't particularly grow into the role as a performer, leaving it tricky to determine how she'd fit into a nostalgia show such as this. Brock mauling The Miztourage for getting on the wrong side of her would be a welcome interlude, as too would be her endorsement of a current star ahead of the historic Women's Royal Rumble.
