When The Shield made their impactful debut at the 2012 version of the Survivor Series, crashing Ryback through the announce desk and generally causing havoc during the Triple Threat main event also involving John Cena and CM Punk, the wrestling world sat up and took notice of the deadly trio.

There was a lot of excitement over what Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins could achieve in WWE, and introducing them collectively would show itself to be a shrewd way of handling the newcomers. The next month, The Shield had their first Pay-Per-View outing, meeting Ryback, Daniel Bryan and Kane (known as 'Team Hell No') at TLC 2012.

Going on fourth on the card, the match blew everyone away. The Shield really came across as violent, uncompromising and relentless during the Tables, Ladders and Chairs bout, and the 6-man match was the highlight of the entire card. Again using tables to their advantage, The Shield emerged victorious, leaving Bryan, Kane and Ryback broken and beaten. This is how to do exciting, stunt-based wrestling!
