10 Survivor Series 'Super Teams' WWE Can Make Today
2. Team Authority
Who’s on the team? Kurt Angle, Daniel Bryan, Shane McMahon, Mick Foley
Don’t worry, thankfully this isn’t a reincarnation of the Authority of old. Rather, it’s a blurring of the lines set out by the Brand Split, as well as a blurring of the lines between active and inactive in-ring performers.
But irrespective of how realistic (or rather, unrealistic) the idea may be, it’s nonetheless interesting to note that if WWE authority figures, both past and present, were to band together then they’d be able to produce a pretty great Survivor Series team.
Fresh off the back of his in-ring return, current Raw General Manager Kurt Angle could hypothetically be joined by his SmackDown counterpart Daniel Bryan. Meanwhile, Shane McMahon's inclusion would add a hardcore streak to a technically sound team. And to make up the numbers, let's overlook the fact that Mick Foley's been off of television since WrestleMania season, because somehow his selection seems like a better idea than adding in Stephanie McMahon...
Either way, in an alternate reality, WWE’s medley of wrestlers-turned-authority-figures could make for a formidable team.
