10 Tag Teams WWE Should Make Right Now

2. Tye Dillinger & Mustafa Ali

Pakistani wrestler Mustafa Ali represents a rare opportunity for the WWE to change perceptions of what wrestling is.

Professional wrestling has a well-deserved reputation for cultural insensitivity, with the 'foreign heel' archetype still being played out and the representation of Muslims in particular being typified by the offensive Muhammad Hassan character.

Ali, on the other hand, is a dynamic high-flying face who needs to be pushed harder to show the WWE has moved on. Putting him together with a fan-favourite face would help accelerate his acceptance on the main roster and create the momentum that can be parlayed into a singles run.

Cult hero Tye Dillinger would be a fine choice. He gets a pop whenever his music kicks in and the audience has a Pavlovian reaction to everything he does. A partnership would not only help some of Dillinger's popularity rub off on Ali, it would get eyes on Ali, showing just how entertaining he can be.
