10 Talents TNA Totally Dropped The Ball With

8. Hernandez

The Latin American Xchange, or LAX, would switch out members in the beginning of their run at TNA. First consisting of Konnan, Homicide, and Apollo, the group would replace Apollo with Machete. Machete would not last long as he was replaced by Hernandez and a tag legacy was born. As LAX, Homicide and Hernandez put on some of the greatest tag team matches in TNA history, and even were putting on match of the year candidates. LAX was alive and kicking in the best days of TNA€™s tag division. After the group split and they each went their own ways, Hernandez seemed like he was being groomed for greatness. Hernandez became €œSuperMex€ and had several singles feuds with several top talents. TNA seemed to be pushing Hernandez and it seemed to be working. He could put on a decent enough match and had a great look to him. And according to Hernandez himself, TNA did in fact have plans to push him big time. TNA however changed their mind and put Hernandez back into a tag team, never matching the popularity of LAX. Hernandez could have been a huge star for TNA, especially in the Mexican market. Hernandez had already been working in AAA in Mexico and him becoming TNA champion could have been huge and could have gained TNA some more fans from Mexico. Hernandez was definitely a star in the making and then TNA just dropped the ball.
