10 Terrible Wrestling Moments (That Were Almost Even Worse)

6. The Katie Vick Angle

"Even worse" probably isn't the best way of putting it; it doesn't get much worse than Triple H cosplaying as Kane and pretending to f*ck "the brains" out of the "corpse" Kane had recklessly killed and, it was implied, purely for "heat" purposes, desecrated via act of necrophilia.

Actually, it does: Kane was an actual canonical rapist in WWE storylines before teaming up with his victim (!), which is to say nothing of the various horrendous business deals and scandals that have defined the promotion as an awful entity in the eyes of everybody save for a few androids programmed to reply to every positive AEW tweet with "Acknowledge the Tribal Chief, AEWsexual".

It doesn't get worse, per se, but it does get significantly more harebrained. According to both Bruce Prichard and Tommy Dreamer, this storyline was originally devised to launch the push of former Raven's Flock member Scott Vick. Reports vary as to the significance of the push. Prichard claims that he was set to work a programme with Triple H or Kane. He can't remember. Dreamer reckons Vick was set to work the main event of WrestleMania with Trips, which sounds a lot like he got worked, and hard, by an old mate.

Vick apparently stunk up the dark match circuit, but then, HHH stunk up the RAW circuit, so that shouldn't have disqualified him, come to think of it.
