1. He's A Serious Cat Lover
By all accounts, Christian lives a humble life compared to a lot of his peers, and is more than content with his loving wife and baby daughter. Hes proud to be a private individual, but one fact that crops up every now and then about Christian is that hes absolutely crazy about cats. At home with his wife in Toronto the couple have rescued and adopted many cats, some of them found in the most unlikeliest of places. One of Christians kitties was found in the engine of a car parked outside of a TNA Impact taping, and it took over thirty minutes to rescue her. The pair currently have five cats that call their house a home, and they show no signs of slowing down. Right now theres Oscar, Felix, Nicki, Lexi and Sammy, who is an amputee that was saved from being put down. Not only does he help rescue cats, but he uses his celebrity and influence to help promote animal shelters such as St. Francis Animal Rescue, and help them raise funds. He also uses Twitter to promote movements and petitions to end the mistreatment of animals and is staunchly opposed to the unnecessary euthanisation of healthy animals.
