10 Things You Didn't Know About Vince McMahon

5. He Has A Successful Older Brother

Vince McMahon's personal life is fairly well known to fans of WWE, given his family's propensity for plastering themselves on TV €“ in fact, sometimes it seems like we know all there is to know about rebellious son Shane, daddy's girl Stephanie, (relatively) level-headed wife Linda, and the man who set it all in motion, Vincent James McMahon. There is a member of the McMahon family who has never appeared on camera, though, and from all accounts has had nothing to do with wrestling €“ Vince's older half-brother, Rod. While Vince was raised with by his mother (again, more on that in a bit), young Rod was taken by their father. For whatever reason, though, he chose not to get involved with WWE €“ today, he works in the steel industry and reportedly does quite well for himself. An interesting footnote about Rod: he and his family were scheduled to be on an episode of Monday Night Raw €“ the Vince McMahon funeral episode, two weeks after his limo exploded on live TV. Of course, what started out as a phony tribute for McMahon was changed into an actual tribute for the Benoit family when news of their deaths broke earlier that day. The entire storyline was scrapped and Rod McMahon was never seen on television.
