7. Jacques Rougeau Had A Retirement Storyline That Never Aired Nationally

Many know Jacques Rougeau as The Mountie and one half of the Quebecers, but he was a beloved figure in Montreal. When Jacques decided to hang up the boots for good in 1994, the WWF planned a storyline breakup of the Quebecers that took place at the Forum in Montreal, and never aired on WWF television. On June 25, the Quebecers lost a match to the Headshrinkers (who were the WWF Tag Team Champions). After the match, Pierre and Johnny Polo turned on Jacuqes. This set up Jacques€™s retirement match against Pierre when the WWF returned to the Forum on October 21. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=do2-9i2PsWY In the main event of the show, Jacques, accompanied by his brother and former tag team partner Raymond, defeated Pierre, who had Johnny Polo in his corner. Jacques used €œWe Are the Champions€ by Queen as his theme music. It was also Johnny Polo€™s last appearance in the WWF before he€™d return as Raven.
