Match: Shawn Michaels vs. Mankind (WWF In Your House: Mind Games)

Why People Hate It: Mick Foley regards this scorcher as one of his favourite matches ever, and that's saying something considering the high quality of his work in WCW, ECW, WWE and elsewhere. Fans speak about it Mind Games in glowing terms; in fact, there's a unique sigh that accompanies the pay-per-view's name, like folks are recalling a particularly happy childhood memory.

Does anybody talk about Vader ruining the finish though? Do they b*llocks.

Shawn and Mick were 26 minutes deep into one of the best federation scuffles of the year when Mr. "It's Time" ambled down the aisle to clock HBK and cause the disqualification. Then, Sycho Sid and The Undertaker both got involved to add to the chaos. Dramatic, yes. Annoying? Absolutely.

Couldn't this have happened after the pin? Mankind was a newbie the WWF wanted to protect, but losing to Shawn f'n Michaels wouldn't have killed his career. Fans were left feeling just a wee bit robbed after watching such a classic.
