10 Things Fan Should Expect From Goldberg's Last WWE Run

8. Goldberg To Give "The Rub"

Speaking of a showdown with another WWE superstar, Goldberg can help the current roster of today just by giving them "the rub".

For those not in the know, "the rub" refers to any spot or moment where a major WWE superstar associates with another talent, usually lower on the card, and is able to elevate this lesser star just by being in the same ring, match, or segment with them. Hulk Hogan gave Randy Savage "the rub" when they formed the Mega Powers. The Rock did it with The Hurricane in the early 2000s, and Goldberg can do it in 2017.

While this occasion may not result in a Utopian WrestleMania V Mega Powers Explode-type payoff, a rub coming from Goldberg, if done right, would go a long way in building new talents of the future.

Whether it's a loose association with a younger full-time talent, a tag-team that is briefly formed, or even a friendship that eventually goes bad, Goldberg should definitely be bumping up with WWE's current roster so that the stars of today and tomorrow can benefit by receiving "the rub" from Goldberg.
