2. He Nearly Committed Suicide In 2008
http://youtu.be/o6Vu8WaOoI0 Waltman has had plenty of issues with drugs in his life. There are many instances where he has talked about using drugs openly, but nothing is as bad as when he tried to commit suicide. When he was on Steve Austin's podcast in 2013, he discussed what happened to him. He was living in Mexico wrestling down there and he was living with Alicia Webb, who wrestling fans know as Ryan Shamrock. She was with him and her son from a previous relationship was there too. She wanted him to stop smoking pot because that's how it was in AAA wrestling, so that caused him to take Valium pills and drink rum. That led to problems between them. After she broke a picture frame that had Sean's kids pictured inside it, he hit her and her son saw it. He felt so bad about it that he started having dark thoughts. He said he wrote a suicide note saying he was going to kill himself. He talked about how he was taking pills and downing them with vodka, so he was losing his mind during that period. Shortly after, he took a garden hose and tried to hang himself. At that point he didn't remember what happened after that until he woke up in the hospital with a breathing machine down his throat. Alicia ended up saving him. They are not a couple anymore, but he spoke highly of her obviously for saving his life. It was soon after that when Kevin Nash flew to Mexico City and took him to a rehab facility in Houston, Texas. He stayed there for four months, loved it there and became clean off hard drugs. Give Nash a lot of credit for helping a friend in need, then Triple H and WWE for putting him in a top notch rehab facility and helping him get better. Sean deserves credit too. He hit rock bottom, but he bounced back from it.
