10 Things Post-WrestleMania 37 Raw Told Us About WWE’s Future
4. Raw’s Women Are Triple Threat Bound
You don't need to be a genius to spot where this story is heading.
Asuka received a rematch for the Raw Women's Title she lost to Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania on Monday, but the referee threw it out when Charlotte Flair attacked both women by shoving them into the steps. "Both" women - note that Flair didn't just go for new champ Ripley.
There's a very good chance that this will lead to a Triple Threat bout at WrestleMania Backlash. After all, Asuka can complain that she didn't get a fair stab at regaining her belt, and Charlotte has already put her name in the frame for a title shot too. Don't forget that Flair's previous challenge for then-champion Asuka fell on deaf ears.
WWE will want to ensure that Backlash retains some 'Mania flavour without being an outright copycat. Booking this three-way would be one remedy for that. Raw's writing makes it look like a no-brainer.
