Comments since his departure from the promotion have made it clear that Ric Flair doesn't really think much of his time with TNA. Speaking during a recent interview, the 'Nature Boy' stated that his tenure in Orlando was nothing more than an attempt to stave off boredom, and allowed him to wrestle when WWE wouldn't entertain the idea. When talking about the matches he had in TNA, Flair dismisses them as average, arrogantly saying that they may be great by TNA's standards, but not by Ric Flair's own standards. On the whole, the man treats the entire thing like a short experiment for him, like he couldn't wait to come back to WWE. That may be the case, but it's pretty crass to then realise that the guy repeatedly talked TNA up whilst there, and it becomes clear that he was only doing so for the money. TNA were a company who put a lot of faith behind the star value of Ric Flair, but it seems he'd rather everyone just forgot he was ever even there. What other things does Ric Flair want wrestling fans to forget about his time in TNA? What did you make of his run with the promotion? Let us know your thoughts down in the comments section!
