10 Things Still Missing From WWE Network

2. User Playlists

WWE Network’s Collections are fantastic. Once a month, WWE will present a new playlist of moments, segments, and matches bound together in chronological order, allowing fans to revisit some of the sport’s biggest stories in an easily digestible format. From Eddie Guerrero’s rise to the top to Daniel Bryan’s greatest hits, these Collections are one of the Network’s greatest features, and it’s a shame there aren’t more of them.

These are the only playlists you’ll find on the Network, however. There’s no scope for users to create their own timelines, save them as their own collection, and share them with friends/other users. If you want to follow a specific story or timeline that isn’t already covered under the Collections header, you’ll have to track down each individual show, find the specific match/segment you’re looking for, then wash, rinse, and repeat.

User curated playlists would tap into the social side of things, and make the Network feel like a more involving product all-round. Giving users the ability to create their own Collections would save WWE a ton of work, and bring swathes of exciting new content to the Network - it’s hard to imagine a Summer of Punk playlist not being a huge hit, for example.

This would obviously require a degree of moderation (as the last thing WWE want is a bunch of Chris Benoit-tagged content floating around), but it’d be more than worth the minimal outlay.
