This could be a bit more of a touchy subject. Sting doesn't need a title around his waist to be special, but it could make for an interesting moment if he's used as a transitional champion for a belt such as the United States Title. Imagine the icon was able to defeat John Cena, before losing out to Rusev in a heated match. A lot of fans will detest that idea, granted, but if WWE were willing to put a title on Bret Hart, who couldn't even bump, there's no reason why Sting shouldn't have the opportunity to hold gold in the company. The big question is exactly what belt it would be. The US Title could be one option, but the WWE World Heavyweight Championship doesn't seem likely. Maybe the Tag-Team Titles would be the best choice, a short reign with those could be memorable, although perhaps it's better if WWE simply keep Sting away from the various championships in the promotion. Nonetheless, it's something to explore.
