The road to Orlando is already underway.

WrestleMania 33 is set to take place at the Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida next year, and while the event is still eight months away, it’s never too early to talk about the biggest annual event of the pro-wrestling calendar.

No matter how WWE is doing at the time, ‘Mania remains a transcendent cultural event. It’s not just the biggest carnival in the sport, but a colossal international show with an appeal stretching far beyond those who watch Raw and SmackDown every week. While this year’s WM 32 was a disappointment, 33 looks set to take the town that Walt Disney build by storm. The New Era is in full flow, ‘Mania will mark its first full year of operation, and if WWE can maintain their recent momentum deep into 2017, fans could have a classic on their hands.

It’s tough to tell how the card will look. There’s little-to-no indication as to who the company see as their long-term WWE and Universal Champions at this point, and while the likes of Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins will stay in and around those scenes, who knows how many new main event stars will be built up by then? There are even doubts over WM stalwart The Undertaker’s long-term status, and the midcard scene’s constant state of flux makes its makeup impossible to predict.

Regardless of how the card takes shape, there are a number of scenarios that are bound to play out before then. Here are 10 things that are inevitable before WrestleMania 33.

10. Enzo Amore & Big Cass: Tag Team Champions

Enzo Amore & Big Cass are the most over tag team in WWE today. Their act is white-hot at the moment: the fans are in the palms of their hands from the moment their music hits, and entertainment is all but guaranteed whenever Enzo’s on the microphone. They’re a little unpolished between the ropes, but Enzo & Cass are universally beloved, and sooner rather than later, they’re going to have tag gold around their waists.

Their popularity transcends even that of The New Day, who looked untouchable in WWE’s tag scene just a few months ago. There’s simply no way that WWE can keep them away from the Tag Team Championships for much longer without having a widescale fan revolt on their hands, and by the time we hit ‘Mania, there’s a strong chance that The Realest Guys in the Room will already have multiple reigns to their name.

How will this come about? WWE are unlikely to put Enzo & Cass against The New Day, as pitting their two most popular babyface tag acts makes very little sense unless one group turns. There’s a strong chance that WWE will install a group like Gallows & Anderson as transitional champions to get the belts on Enzo & Cass, but whatever the case, it’d be a huge surprise if they weren’t Raw’s tag division’s leading lights heading into ‘Mania.
