10 Things That Are Inevitable Before WWE WrestleMania 34

John Cena will return to action on the 4 July episode of SmackDown. Isn't that curious timing? Jinder Mahal, a man cast as an evil foreign menace who not-so-secretly despises North America, is WWE Champion. Cena, a patriotic goody-two-shoes, is about to make a grand comeback on Independence Day. Hmm. No prizes for guessing where this is going.

A SummerSlam showdown would appear to be in the works. It'd be a surprise if Mahal vs. Cena didn't happen, not only because it makes complete sense but also because it'd enable WWE's poster boy of the past 15 years to create history. Cena's next World Title triumph will be his 17th, breaking Ric Flair's 16-time record.

Cena matched that at the Royal Rumble this past January, so shattering Flair's number sooner rather than later is on the horizon. Can WWE hold off until WrestleMania with Cena's 17th win? That remains to be seen, especially if they also want to put Baron Corbin over in a big way by having him cash in and steal Cena's spotlight.
