10 Things That Happened AFTER Wrestling Matches That WWE Won’t Tell You

7. “Tell Him To Get The F*ck Out My Ring”

Shawn Michaels would tell you himself that he was occasionally prone to being a total w*nker during his pro wrestling prime. Tempestuous and arrogant, the 'Showstopper' didn't ingratiate himself to many with his antics. At WrestleMania XII, he left a knackered Bret Hart totally flabbergasted.

HBK told ref Earl Hebner to tell Bret to "get the f*ck out of my ring".

This charming blast was one Hart actually heard, and he wasn't too happy about it. He'd just jobbed for Michaels in a gruelling 60-minute 'Iron Man' match that had gone to overtime, and he felt disrespected by Shawn's typically selfish behaviour - all the 'Hitman' could do was shake his head and leave.

WWE won't talk about this; they leave it for Bret to acknowledge in shoots, because it's probably easier that way. Admitting that Michaels was a spoilt brat and irked peers who had just done him the ultimate favour isn't a great look for anyone, especially when the narrative calls for emotion and that the "boyhood dream [had] come true".
