One of the more entertaining storylines in WWE over the past few months has been the one involving The Miz and Damien Mizdow. Mizdow has been the clown, acting as Miz's stunt double and providing some serious laughs along the way. What began as an apparent death sentence for Damien, who seemed to have been on his way up alone, had turned into a second wind for him. Damien was getting over like never before, making the crowds pop and causing an uproar in social media. Mizdow was a hit and fans wanted nothing more than to see him part ways with his mentor and get back on his own again. Indeed, Miz was the man to get Mizdow back on track and the time seemed to be right for the impending split to happen. However instead of ending the partnership, WWE chose to abandon the stunt double gimmick and turn Mizdow into The Miz's assistant. Now, the gimmick that was considered to be one of the most original that fans had ever seen was nothing more than a cliche and Mizdow has really had nothing to do since then. The fact is that Fastlane should be the night that Mizdow strikes out on his own. The story has been told, Mizdow has gotten over and everything that needs to happen has happened. All that's left is for Damien to take a stand and finally become the star that he has earned the right to be.
