Baron Corbin has a lot of attributes that must appeal to WWE. He's tall, muscular and yet able to be realistically overcome by smaller performers. His match against Dolph Ziggler is probably the lame duck of the main card, but that shouldn't mean that the result should be discounted.

A Corbin win is necessary to ensure that the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal from WrestleMania 32 doesn't look meaningless. What good was the 'Mania win if Baron is going to drop meekly to Ziggler less than a month later? There's a way to protect Dolph, even in defeat, that's for sure.

Both men have been attacking one another before matches on Raw and SmackDown, and it's clear WWE are trying to show their respective competitive natures.

That should be the glue holding their bout together, a Corbin win over the absolute best Ziggler can muster only makes him look stronger.

Losing doesn't make Dolph look weak, but only if WWE ensure that the match is laid out to make Corbin look dominant in the end instead of lucky.
