10 Things That Must Happen At WWE Super Show-Down
3. Nikki Bella Turns On Ronda Rousey
I'm going to spare you the snark in this section, because frankly, I don't want to contrive any ill will I have towards particular superstars that doesn't exist. Nikki Bella is a valuable part of WWE's branding and, anything said about her or her sister's wrestling ability aside, she is one of the most immediately recognizable and popular superstars the company has at their arsenal. Therefore, a main event between her and Ronda Rousey at the first all-women's PPV is... sigh, best for business.
So anyway, with all that that, Nikki Bella should totally make an inexplicable heel turn against Ronda during or after their throwaway six-woman tag team match against The Riott Squad.
I realize it's reflective of WWE's careless, lazy booking that Nikki Bella's changed from face to heel to face lord-knows how many times, but really, if Super Show-Down is to be remembered for anything, it should be for memorable angles. And what should be more memorable to a casual audience who might also be subscribed to the Bellas' highly successful YouTube channel than Nikki backing out of the tag match or kicking Ronda around a bit?
Will it impress hardcore fans? Probably not. Will it get the job done? Probably... yes? I dunno, point is: if they're gonna have this match main-event the next PPV, you might as well build to it in a significant way.
