Thank the lord above for the Phenomenal Forearm. AJ Styles planted his radial bone directly into the face of Jinder Mahal last week, ending the 'Modern Day Maharaja’s 170-day tenure as WWE Champion and booking his ticket to face Brock Lesnar at Survivor Series. Lesnar vs. AJ is exponentially more interesting that Brock vs. Jinder.

If given enough time, the bout could potentially steal the show. Brock Lesnar’s best match of the last four years was unquestionably his SummerSlam 2013 brawl with CM Punk, and while this champion vs. champion affair won’t have the emotion of that Paul Heyman-inspired battle, the similarities are clear.

Ultimately, the finish is as predictable as it is necessary. Brock Lesnar has defended the WWE Universal Championship against Samoa Joe and Braun Strowman this year, defeating both behemoths after hitting a single F5. AJ Styles will put up a hell of a fight, but one F5 must be the end of 'The Phenomenal One'.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
