‘Young’ almost certainly isn’t the right word, as the youngest man involved in the men’s 5-on-5 traditional elimination match is Braun Strowman at 34. One of the fresher WWE superstars must survive on Sunday night however, regardless which brand pulls out the victory.

What value is there in Triple H or Kurt Angle standing tall? How about another Survivor Series with Randy Orton or John Cena coming out on top? The sensible option would be for Strowman, Joe, or Finn Bálor to survive for the red brand, or Nakamura or Bobby Roode to do so for SmackDown.

A strong Survivor Series performance can do wonders for the career of an individual struggling to assert themselves on the main roster. If the new stars are eliminated early and the match comes down to Triple H & Kurt Angle vs. John Cena & Randy Orton, WWE will be making a gigantic mistake.
