10 Things That Must Happen Now WWE Royal Rumble 2017 Is Over
9. Gran Metalik Returns
Thus far, WWE's cruiserweight division has been a mixed bag. The talent is unquestionably there, but the way WWE has chosen to develop the stars - or failed to develop the stars - has meant that the live fans often don't seem into the cruiserweight matches. Also, the "sport" feel that WWE had cultivated for the Cruiserweight Classic is absent from its successor, 205 Live.
Still, the matches are there, and things will heat up once one of the division's top stars arrives. Gran Metalik (formerly Mascara Dorada) was one of the hottest up-and-comers in Mexico before joining WWE for the Cruiserweight Classic, but since the tournament, he's only made a single appearance on Raw.
The star has been working matches at NXT house shows, but it's time for him to return to television, leading into a program for WrestleMania. Should Neville retain the Cruiserweight Championship in his rematch with Rich Swann, there's nobody who would make a better opponent for him at the show of shows than Metalik. First, though, he needs to make an impression on the fans.
