7. A Best Friendship In Tatters
As much as we've all enjoyed watching a best friendship blossom between Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho - and as much as the two men have done some of their best work alongside one another - all good things must come to an end. It's pretty much a lock that Owens and Jericho will end up fighting each other at WrestleMania, and so there needs to be a relationship rupture before then.
It seems likely that Kevin Owens will lose his Universal Title at Fastlane (more on that later), so that can be used as a catalyst for a split - Owens can blame Jericho for the loss, and though Jericho will initially take the brunt of his friend's wrath, fans will beg to see Y2J stand up for himself. Eventually, a well-placed Codebreaker during a tag match will show the world that the United States Champion is ready to stand on his own.
That will turn the best friends into worst enemies, placing them on a one-way path to a United States Championship match at WrestleMania. While it'll be a bit of a step down for Owens after having been a world champion for six months, the match is sure to please.
