10 Things That Should Definitely Not Happen After WrestleMania 32

5. A Brand Split

The WWE Universe has been abuzz with talks of another brand split, much in the same manner as we saw in 2002. If you didn't already know that WWE fans are fickle, it was only in 2011 that the last one ended after strong criticism. Or maybe it says more about how terrible WWE's booking has been in the past five years than how fickle the WWE Universe is. Still, even if you take WWE's TV deal with the USA Network out of the equation - the deal essentially rules out the possibility straight away - there is no way to justify going through with the same lamented main roster split that was failing so recently. Even though WWE currently has a record number of wrestlers between the main roster and its developmental system, there aren't enough main event calibre performers to make a split seem logical. Yes, an extension could create new main event stars, but those same fans begging for a roster split don't have the patience for new stars to be groomed. Not to mention, the WWE Championship and World Heavyweight Championships were only unified in 2014. Do we just unify them? One show would inevitably do better than the other and we would be back to square one when WWE brings the roster back together in a year or two, except fewer viewers would be returning.

Overly-opinionated Australian WWE smark who is definitely not #booty. Slowly angering the IWC one article at a time. We will probably strongly dislike each other - let's be friends! @MattKMarsden
