The WWE formula is drearily predictable, and like with most post-pay-per-view Raws, the chances of the previous night's contests either replayed or re-arranged into a series of multi-man bouts are almost guaranteed. In fact, so consistently do the company pull this trick that there's almost little point in buying the big shows themselves, since the entire contests are virtually repeated 24-hours later, albeit in a watered-down, television style. It beggars belief really, especially considering the same technique is used to build for the big payoffs. Seven man ladder match for the Intercontinental Title? WWE logic dictates the best way to make fans want to see that is by putting all but one of the combatants in a 6-man a week before. Same applies for the New Day-League of Nations contest. Aren't we all sick of seeing these same seven grapplers wrestle each other by now? Well, just be patient a little longer, because it is going to happen at least two more times. Easy money is on a Roman Reigns & The New Day vs. League of Nations main event for the April 4th Raw.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
