Vince McMahon gets it. You’re angry and you're bored. Your interests don’t seem to match up to what he’s presenting in WWE, but things are slowly changing. Change is always gradual, but as a whole, things are getting better.

Think of what WWE has accomplished over these past four years: Women are treated as equals more than ever, the Cruiserweights have returned, Kevin Steen, A.J. Styles, Bobby Roode, Eric Young, Uhaa Nation, Kana, Shinsuke Nakamura and Samoa Joe have all been given jobs by WWE. NXT came into existence. The Network has offered a great way to watch their content. Wrestlers are trained in a first class facility, and are taught the right way to take bumps, and even receive courses on how to save the money they earn during their career. These are all good things.

If Triple H’s influence on the product continues to grow, WWE could be in a great spot in 2020 or 2024. He knows that “less is more” when it comes to wrestling, and does a wonderful job of not burning out the crowds in NXT. He could be the successor to Vince McMahon that we need. The future really is worth getting excited about in many ways.

Times may be tough right now, the product may not be entertaining the masses at the moment, but change will happen, and right now there’s no reason to think it won’t be for the better.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
