10 Things That Would Make Women's Hell In A Cell Match Legendary
5. A Definitive Outcome
It may sound obvious and it sure is simple but the first ever women's Hell In A Cell match needs to have a true finish and a definitive outcome. Too often in recent WWE history, the promotion has refused to deliver such a conclusion in fear of damaging the fallen competitor.
Take the Dean Ambrose vs. Seth Rollins cell match from the 2014 event, for example, when the two former Shield members faced each other in the blowoff to their near six month long feud. A decisive winner was expected. Unfortunately, WWE used smoke and mirrors, literally, to see Rollins steal the victory after Bray Wyatt's lantern and a hologram appeared in the middle of the ring.
This finish was received rather poorly due to the inconclusive end of Seth and Dean's first program. While it was expected that these two would be feuding down the line again, similar to Sasha and Charlotte, fans still wanted the first chapter to have a satisfying conclusion. The hokey spectacle that was the finish left a bad taste in many fans' mouth.
That is why, come October 30th, whether the match features run-ins, distractions, or a straight-up clean finish, the conclusion to Sasha vs. Charlotte inside Hell In A Cell must be conclusive.
