10 Things We Learned From Bayley On Steve Austin’s Broken Skull Sessions

8. Reliving Brooklyn With Austin Is Amazing

If you only watch one portion of the episode, make it this one.

There was wonder in Austin's voice as he relived Bayley's NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn epic with Sasha Banks right there in the studio. He clearly loves the bout and knows it inside out, because he pointed out specific spots and doted over the babyface vs. heel dynamic.

This part of the interview is worth the price of admission alone (the same could be said for that aforementioned HIAC 2020 recap a little later on, to be fair). It's particularly cool to watch Bayley and Austin marvel over the live crowd in Brooklyn, especially when Bayley repeatedly says she wishes she could wrestle in front of that specific audience again.

In fact, she'd just love to wrestle in front of fans full stop. How poignant is that? Bayley cannot wait until arenas are full to the brim with organic energy again, and neither can Austin. They gave Brooklyn a lot of love generally here.
