10 Things We Learned From Bruce Prichard’s Something To Wrestle With Live Glasgow

1. Shane McMahon's Ear-Piercing Nightmare

...and now we come to the main event, otherwise known as furious father vs. rebel son's ears.

As a teenager, Shane McMahon wanted to show off his carefree spirit by getting his ear pierced. Doesn't sound like too much of a problem, does it? Shane also didn't just rush in. He decided to wear a fake earring for a while to see if he liked it. When Vince saw it, he thought it'd be funny to rip the thing off and play a pretty mean prank.

Shane wasn't best pleased about his dad's antics, and he can't have been prepared for what was coming next. Vince, determined to show his son the error of his (rather tame) rebellion, pinned him down, grabbed a knife and yelled, "You want your f*cking ear pierced, well, let's pierce your f*cking ear". Let's hope he was actually playing around and wasn't about to maim his boy.

Prichard's story earned a gasp from the live crowd in Glasgow. Everyone knew he was embellishing things for the sake of a good story, but some seemed genuinely freaked out that Vince would go so far. All in "good fun".
