Mere months into his WWF run, Eddie Guerrero was placed in an on-screen relationship with Chyna. This storyline pretty much ended The Radicalz as a focused group, Dean Malenko and Perry Saturn were written to be none too pleased about their pal's new girlfriend. Meanwhile, Eddie promised to make the best of the situation behind the scenes.

Knowing full well that longtime supporters would wonder why he was effectively playing second fiddle to a girl, Guerrero wanted to prove to everyone that the idea could be a success. More importantly, he wanted to show that anything management handed him would be fruitful, because Eddie Guerrero could do it all.

This was something Eddie told Bruce Prichard in the middle of the angle, but he was also quick to praise Chyna for how well she responded to the concept. The pair planned to steal the show every single time they were on camera. In Prichard's mind, that's exactly what they would end up doing.

Instead of being upset over potentially being Chyna's backup, Guerrero looked on the positive side and made the best of it all.
