Throughout the wrestling world Charles Robinson is affectionately known as Little Naitch, a reference to his position as Ric Flair's biggest fan in the world and obvious aesthetic similarities. This was brought to WCW screens in 1999, when Kevin Nash held the position of head booker of the company.

Robinson was the Four Horsemen's crooked referee at the time, and Flair was also WCW President. As president the Nature Boy had suspended 'Macho Man' Randy Savage, and because this is the crazy world of professional wrestling the only way for Savage to return would be for his valet, Gorgeous George, to defeat Charles Robinson in a match.

As the story goes, Nash approached Robinson and asked him if he wanted a robe in order to fight a girl. The match took place at Slamboree 1999, and despite taking the pinfall loss Robinson's status as 'Little Naitch' was born.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
