9. AEW's Money Offer Shocked Him

First things first, Jericho was shocked and stunned by the offer Khan put on the table to sign him exclusively.

There's no concrete figure given on the podcast (nor should anyone have been expecting Chris to divulge the personal state of his finances), but Jericho did say that the deal was "NFL level" and even said it was the "biggest initial offer he's ever had". That, to anyone who knows the ins and outs of his WCW departure and WWE signing, is huge.

Still, Jericho wasn't going to jump in without thought. To him, it wouldn't be hard for a massive company like WWE to match the terms, and he wanted to give them the opportunity. Then, he began working more with Cody, Kenny Omega and The Bucks, and he realised how much fun he was having. It was exactly what he wanted, wrestling-wise.

Reading between the lines of Jericho's words a little, it's clear that he was slightly taken aback by the financial power the Khan family had. He obviously didn't know much about their business dealings, ownership of the Jacksonville Jaguars or control of Fulham in the Premier League.
