Jim says that WWE wrestlers often don't get enough credit for their toughness and the hard hits that they take on a frequent basis, and he wants to know what the difference is in the mentality between professional wrestling and mixed martial arts.

Punk replies that the obvious difference is with wrestling, you're trying to make it look like you're hurting your opponent without actually touching them at all. He names Bret Hart as someone who excelled at that, saying "he always looked like he was killing a motherf**ker and he never was".

With wrestling there's always a chance you might get hurt, lose a tooth, etc, and Punk says he's worked his fair share of unsafe guys. He says that it's not out of intent, but that some guys are just clumsy, admitting that he himself was clumsy.

If he wrestled a guy he didn't like, he would go out of his way to never stiff the guy at all, because then that meant there's a problem. It was always his friends and the guys he enjoyed working with who he would lay into and get clocked back.
