10 Things We Learned From Cody Rhodes's Straight Shoot Interview
9. He Has A Ring At His House
Rhodes may have been out of action for a few months, but he's been keeping in shape by training three times a day. In the morning, he lifts weights, and in the evening, he runs with his dog. During the day, though, he works out in his very own ring.
The ring, which sits under a pergola in his yard, measures 18 feet by 18 feet, meaning that it's a little smaller than the ones WWE uses (those are 20 x 20), but it's the same size preferred by most of the world's major promotions. Having his own squared circle allows Cody to make sure he doesn't develop any ring rust, and also gives him a place to work on some new moves.
To that last point, Cody asserts that he has added some offense to his repertoire in preparation for his independent debut, and has even created a new finisher (though he hasn't named it yet).
