Those who properly paid attention to Cody's match with Seth Rollins at 'Mania 38 would've spotted a few hidden gems. Rhodes paid tribute to his father by working in some jabs and a Bionic Elbow, but he also paid homage to the Stardust character early in the bout too.

He cartwheeled and struck a pose straight after some opening spots with Seth. On commentary, Corey Graves said he was "shedding skin" - that's something Cody loved, because it summed things up brilliantly. Even more surprising, he'd expressly requested that the announcers stay away from talking about Stardust.

So much for that. Well, sort of.

Rhodes himself stuck a little Stardust magic in there, and he hadn't really planned that. It just felt right in the heat of the moment, especially when Cody realised that WWE fans around ringside knew his journey and wanted to live the next chapter with him.

That's pretty damn cool.
