10 Things We Learned From Corey Graves' New WWE Podcast

1. The Reason For Seth Rollins' Kenny Omega Comments

As Eric Bischoff once said, "Controversy Creates Cash". If that sounds like a clichéd way to open an entry, then fear not. It most definitely is, but Seth used it on Graves' podcast as justification for why he said Kenny Omega wrestled in the "minor leagues".

When explaining why he'd badmouthed Omega and AEW, Seth said he initially thought about talking up Kenny as a wonderful wrestler. That seemed boring to him, so he decided to "give JR something to talk about" (zing), "make headlines and have some fun".

Rollins and Omega worked together in ROH years ago and consider one another good friends. Seth knew exactly what would happen if he was outspoken, and he claims it was a calculated decision to jolt the wrestling media into writing stories about him. If that's true, and some won't believe it, then that's fair enough.

He also told Corey that he's willing to take flak the same way John Cena and Roman Reigns have before him, because that's what happens to "top guys".
