9. Vince Russo’s Conflicting Statements

Immediately, Vince Russo fires right out of the gate with this pearler of a statement: “I despise the wrestling business, bro. I despise the people in it!”. Later, near the end of the episode, he changes his tune and says he doesn’t hate anybody involved because it was just a job to him.

OK.

This is more mental mindf*ckery from Russo, and it's a reminder that his talking head comments (whilst definitely good for balance) should be taken with a pinch of salt. The man clearly contradicts himself a lot; it's important to say that these statements could've been ripped from different interview sessions with the guy, but yes - still worth mentioning.

How could pro wrestling be "just a job" he didn't give much thought to when he's over here also saying, "I despise the wrestling business"? Toning down the provocative shock value of his comments would've done Russo some big favours here, being brutally honest.
