10 Things We Learned From Hulk Hogan On Talk Is Jericho (Part 2)

6. WrestleMania III

If Hulk Hogan is to be believed, the match that to this day may still be the most fabled bout in the sport's history featured a result that was in question up until the moment the that it happened. Hulk said that even though he despised doing it, he used "the Diamond Dallas Page gimmick" and wrote the entire match out on a yellow legal pad, mainly because Andre's back was in such bad shape. But he was never given a green light from either Vince or The Giant if they were going to go ahead with it. Hulk claims he genuinely didn't know if Andre was going to do the job, and each time he asked him before the match he was brushed off. The WWE head honcho didn't have an answer for him either and he was getting nervous. Andre, with 2 QUARTS of Crown Royal whiskey in him, kept telling the champ that he'd take care of him. However, once the bell rang, Andre ran through the match script perfectly, but even when he called for the legdrop mid-bodyslam Hulk still didn't know if he was going to kick out or not. To this day Hogan doesn't know if Andre never telling him he was going to do the favor for him was because he was legitimately undecided or if he was just ribbing him.
