10 Things We Learned From IMPACT Wrestling Live

6. Casual Fan Interest Is Encouraging

This writer decided to do the rounds and experience IMPACT from different parts of the venue mid-show, and it paid off. Throughout that journey around the O2, yours truly got talking to lots of different folks. Several had one thing in common: They'd been first in the queue to buy tickets when this UK tour was announced, and a few admitted they only really attend WWE shows rather than indy ones.

Further, this guy's girlfriend happened to mention where she was going that evening during a job interview, and the interviewer knew IMPACT was in town despite being a casual fan of wrestling at most. As if that wasn't enough, another lapsed fan from her current workplace (shout out to Khalid) also knew TNA was running a show.

Why is any of this important? Well, longtime TNA/IMPACT fans know that the company has had problems with advertising and promotion before. Hopefully, wrestlers will be spared the indignity of checking into hotels and finding out nobody in the local area even knows they're putting on some matches in the future.

That must've sucked during TNA's prior run.
